We are currently looking for some enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistants to work within secondary schools around Cheshire East. You will join our already fabulous team of supply staff that and be valued just as much as a permanent member of staff. With flexibility to choose work that suits you, you can control your workload and you don’t need to sacrifice doing the things you love.
Things have already started to get busy for September, so with plenty of opportunities available there is something for you.
As a teaching assistant you will have the following responsibilities:
Assist students on a 1:1 basis or support small groups of students with their learning
Help the teachers set up for lessons
Encourage students with their learning
Maintain strong classroom management skills
Have strong communication skills
Be able to work across both key stages 3 & 4 (KS3 & KS4)

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
