We are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistants to work in schools across the Merthyr area, due to receiving a large number of requests from schools in this local authority.
You will be supporting the primary age range across various classes. The successful candidate will need to implement creative learning techniques to engage pupils, who mainly needs support with literacy and numeracy.
An important part of this role is to build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupils, as you will be working with children in a crucial part of their learning journey. The successful candidate will need to have a calm demeanour and be committed, as well as encouraging.
Previous experience of working with pupils on a on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting will be essential for this job role.
