Job Description

New Directions are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to carry out support in multiple schools in the Merthyr area, alongside working at the school you will be responsible for feeding back progress to the class Teacher.

This position is perfect for a Learning Support Assistant that is looking for flexible, long term and part time work as we have a variety of roles available to suit your needs.

The successful candidate will have the below attributes;

• The ability to support the delivery of the the curriculum, mainly focussing on the core subjects

• Experience working within a classroom setting or working in a child based setting

• Use a creative approach to aid the learning of the pupil

• The ability to be organised, efficient and use your own initiative as well as following instructions set by the class Teacher

• Ideally experience working in an ALN environment or from a care background
• An excellent track record
