We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate Vocational Studies Teacher on behalf of one of our Secondary Schools in the Cheshire area. Someone to join a professional and friendly team. You will teach both academic and vocational subjects at a variety of levels to a diverse range of students. This is a prominent area of the college and crucial in supporting students with their development and progress onto higher courses. Working Tuesday, Wednesday and a Thursday with the potential for more days.
You will be responsible for delivering both vocational and tutorial lessons, bringing learning to life in a way that excites and inspires our students as well as being responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work.
Tutors work on a 1-2-1 basis with students usually within the students’ home, covering a variety of subjects notably core subjects including mathematics, English and science.
Tutor sessions will be bespoke for each student depending on age and levels, and will normally last between 1 and 2 hours.
Tutors can cover all levels from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 however tutors will need to have experience of teaching core subjects such as English, science, and mathematics at the level they will be tutoring.
