New Directions Education are one of the preferred suppliers to schools across South Wales. We are looking to recruit Welsh speaking Supply Teachers. We are currently recruiting highly motivated, flexible, and committed individuals to support primary schools in the Monmouthshire area.

Assignments can be on long or short-term with the flexibility for you to manage your own diary/availability.

As we are recruiting for Welsh-medium schools, fluency in written and spoken Welsh is essential.

Job Specification.

The ideal candidate will:

• Teach all areas of The Curriculum for Wales
• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
• Maintain discipline
• Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
