New Directions Education are currently registering Final Year Students for both long and short term supply placements in Welsh schools. We are able to begin the registration process now so that your file is active as soon as you have completed your final placement. We are looking for teachers who would work in primary schools in the foundation phase and key stage 2. You will be given flexibility to work full or part time hours within local schools. We have opportunities available in Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
All supply sessions can be logged and will count towards your Induction Period. New Directions Educations have an experienced NQT consultant on hand to support you through your Induction Year.

As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the school curriculum
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
