Job Description

New Directions are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work in various Primary Schools in the North Pembrokeshire Area. Experience of working with primary school age children is essential however; this could be on a volunteering or employment basis. The school is Welsh Medium so we require a candidate with a good grasp of written and spoken Welsh. We ask that all of our candidates are able to provide references that can comment on their abilities to work with children. We also ask that candidates are in possession of an Update Service enabled DBS or be willing to complete one through us.

Candidates must also be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

The ideal candidate would

  • Possess excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills
  • Work efficiently with other staff members
