Job Description

New Directions are currently recruiting for a Welsh speaking Teacher to carry out one to one home tuition in a well-recognised school in the Caldicot area, alongside working at the school you will be required to work with the pupil at their home.

This position is perfect for a teacher that is looking for flexible, long term and part time work as you will be working 2 hours per day over 5 days with the pupil in question.

The successful candidate will have the below attributes;

  • The ability to speak the Welsh language fluently and deliver the Key Stage 3 curriculum in Welsh, mainly focussing on the core subjects
  • Experience working with autism and emotional and behavioural difficulties, or willing to work with these additional needs
  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent
  • Using a creative approach to teaching
  • The ability to be organised, plan and prepare your own lessons
  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle

Job Specification
