New Directions are now on the search for Exam Scribers to start in Secondary Schools in Bebington and Wallasey and the Cheshire area. The overall responsibility will be to act as a reader or scriber during controlled examinations to enable to school to meet its requirements, to allow students with ALN support needs or temporary injuries to access assessments. New Directions are looking for flexible Exam Invigilators for temporary and seasonal work in schools across the Wirral. Invigilators will usually be required in High Schools during GCSE and AS/A-Level examinations, and occasionally Colleges. The hours will range from 8:30am – 12:00pm for morning exams, and 12:00pm – 2:30pm for afternoon exams – these times can vary depending on the schools needs and the type of exam. We are looking for local candidates interested in supporting Secondary Schools in the Newport area on a part time bases. Secondary Schools often need extra support during different times of the education calander with exams and cleaning staff. We can offer training in both area's to support you and the schools can offer exam invigilating during the exams season and cleaning hours in the evening usual 3-4 hours per day.
