Dan (my Account Manager) was very helpful from the outset. He put me at ease during the interview process and explained the role, information required and checks that needed to be carried out. He told me of the work available and the type of work I would be doing. Dan was excellent as my direct manager, point of contact and daily scheduler for work. He always kept me up-to-date with the work available and booked me work in advance where possible. when this was not possible, Dan contacted me by 07.30 each morning with a destination. I was also impressed with Bethany who kept me up to date with the checks and processes as they continued and from the original meeting with her. Both were very professional and approachable throughout my experiences in dealing with them.

There has been daily work available, which has been confirmed through excellent communication. Sometimes this can be lacking in workplaces but I found this to be a real strength with New Directions – well done. I have and will continue to recommend New Directions to those wishing to dip their toe into the teaching world and to those between jobs.

Overall, this has been a very rewarding experience. Not only working with New Directions, but learning new skills and adapting old ones, in order to help me work in the Classroom environment. I have now worked in 10 schools and picked up positive things from each.
