New Directions Education are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher<\/strong> to work in a welcoming primary school in Chester. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys working with younger learners and is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where pupils can develop confidence and strong foundational skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school is a supportive and inclusive setting with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, high-quality teaching, and collaborative working between staff. Teachers are encouraged to create creative and engaging lessons that support pupils\u2019 academic, social, and emotional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 1
\u2022 Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
\u2022 Supporting pupils\u2019 academic, social, and emotional development
\u2022 Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
\u2022 Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
\u2022 Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
\u2022 Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
\u2022 Supporting pupils with varying learning needs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\u2022 Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
\u2022 Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
\u2022 Excellent communication and organisational skills
\u2022 The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
\u2022 A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
\u2022 A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
\u2022 A genuine passion for supporting children\u2019s learning and development<\/p>\n\n\n\n
