This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, many of whom have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. With small class sizes of 6\u20138 pupils, staff are able to provide a highly personalised and supportive approach to learning, helping students to re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Plan and deliver Maths lessons to pupils in Year 7\u2013Year 11 (KS3 &amp; KS4)<br>\u2022 Teach small classes of 6\u20138 pupils, allowing for a more individualised approach<br>\u2022 Support pupils with SEMH needs, focusing on both academic progress and emotional development<br>\u2022 Contribute to a structured and supportive learning environment<br>\u2022 Work within school hours of 8:30am\u20134:00pm, with timetabled teaching typically between 10:00am and 2:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent<br>\u2022 Has experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4<br>\u2022 Has experience working with SEND, particularly SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)<br>\u2022 Is resilient, patient, and able to build rapport with vulnerable learners<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 References covering the last 5 years<br>\u2022 Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A specialist SEND school in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a resilient and dedicated Maths Teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Year 7\u2013Year 11).
