This is a full-time role with the opportunity to make a lasting impact and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5, if applicable) by delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons that develop essential culinary skills, nutrition awareness, and an understanding of food preparation, safety, and healthy living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Plan and deliver high-quality and engaging Food Technology lessons                                                                \u2022 Teach students practical cooking skills, food hygiene, nutrition, and healthy eating<br>\u2022 Maintain a safe, organised, and positive learning environment in the classroom and kitchen<br>\u2022 Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Holds (or is on track to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)<br>\u2022 Degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related subject<br>\u2022 Strong subject knowledge and passion for Food Education<br>\u2022 Ability to motivate and engage students in practical and theory-based learning<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 References covering the last 5 years<br>\u2022 Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A supportive and progressive secondary school in Sefton is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their Design and Technology department.
