This role suits both experienced teachers and ECTs who are confident stepping into new classrooms and maintaining a positive learning environment, with the added benefit of flexible working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"pt-2\">Job Specification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"pt-2\">Job Specification<\/h2>\n<p>New Directions Education recruits for vacancies for Geography Teachers who are looking to teach Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (KS4) and possibly Key Stage 5 (KS5). Experienced teachers as well as newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n<p>As a Geography Teacher you\u2019ll be expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold QTS status<\/li>\n<li>Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism<\/li>\n<li>Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment<\/li>\n<li>Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges<\/li>\n<li>Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain discipline<\/li>\n<li>Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils&#8217; development<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area<\/li>\n<li>Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re looking for a reliable and engaging Geography Teacher to work on a supply basis in schools across Conwy.
