This rewarding opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing focused, individualised support to pupils and helping them to succeed both academically and personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working through our established supply agency, you will benefit from flexible working arrangements, competitive rates of pay, and ongoing support from our experienced education team. The successful candidate will demonstrate patience, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to supporting a designated pupil on a 1:1 basis while working closely with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"pt-2\">Job Specification<\/h2>\n<p>Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.<\/p>\n<p>We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NVQ\u00a0Level 2 Teaching Assistant<\/li>\n<li>NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant<\/li>\n<li>Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)<\/li>\n<li>CACHE\u00a0Level 3 in Childcare &amp; Education<\/li>\n<li>BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.<\/p>\n<h3>Jobs in additional learning needs (ALN)<\/h3>\n<p>A large number of our jobs are in ALN and we fill many vacancies in schools with candidates who have particular experience in working with children classified as having:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)<\/li>\n<li>Dyslexia<\/li>\n<li>Dyspraxia<\/li>\n<li>Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)<\/li>\n<li>Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)<\/li>\n<li>Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD)<\/li>\n<li>Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)<\/li>\n<li>Severe Learning Difficulties<\/li>\n<li>Physical Disabilities (PD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a teaching assistant you\u2019ll be expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher,\u00a0ALNCO\u00a0and class teachers<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress<\/li>\n<li>Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities<\/li>\n<li>Assist class teachers with maintaining student records<\/li>\n<li>Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across welcoming and supportive primary schools within the Saltney area.
