This role involves working closely with teaching staff, SENCO&#8217;s and external agencies to deliver high-quality education for pupils with a range of needs, including Medical Needs, ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideally, candidates will be required to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for pupils with SEN, adapting materials and strategies as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working alongside class teachers to deliver differentiated learning and ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver small group interventions under the direction of SENCOs and phase leaders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the development of EHCP outcomes and contribute to reviews and meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of the class teacher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide guidance and support to other teaching assistants across the setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and assessment processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apply Today!<\/strong><br>All roles are subject to satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Directions Education, are recruiting for a pool of Higher Level Teaching Assistants, to work within Leeds SEN settings who are seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants for daily\/long term cover from September.
