This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting teaching and learning and are confident delivering lessons and leading classroom activities when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schools we work with are welcoming and supportive, with strong leadership teams and a commitment to creating positive learning environments for all pupils. Opportunities are available on both short-term and long-term assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>The Role:<\/strong><br>\u2022 Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher<br>\u2022 Leading small group interventions and targeted learning support<br>\u2022 Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and\/or KS2<br>\u2022 Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities<br>\u2022 Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies<br>\u2022 Working collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders<br>\u2022 Assisting with assessment, monitoring, and pupil progress<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Ideal Candidate Will Have:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 HLTA status or a relevant Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience)<br>\u2022 Experience working within a primary school setting<br>\u2022 Confidence leading whole-class learning<br>\u2022 Strong classroom and behaviour management skills<br>\u2022 Excellent communication and organisational skills<br>\u2022 A proactive, flexible, and professional approach<br>\u2022 A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures<br>\u2022 A genuine passion for supporting children\u2019s learning and development<br>\u2022 A full driving licence and access to transport (desirable)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an <strong>Enhanced DBS check<\/strong> and provide appropriate professional references.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Directions Education are currently recruiting experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work in schools across Hartford and surrounding areas.
