New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs)<\/strong> to work in primary schools across Wilmslow. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers to gain valuable classroom experience, develop their teaching practice, and secure their first long-term or permanent role within primary education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We work with a variety of welcoming and supportive schools that are committed to helping ECTs successfully transition into their teaching careers. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 on a short-term, long-term, and potential temp-to-perm basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Role:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary age range
\u2022 Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
\u2022 Supporting pupils\u2019 academic, social, and emotional development
\u2022 Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
\u2022 Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
\u2022 Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
\u2022 Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
\u2022 Contributing to the wider school community and school activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)<\/strong> or be due to achieve QTS before starting
\u2022 Recent teaching placement experience within a primary school setting
\u2022 Strong classroom management and communication skills
\u2022 A proactive, enthusiastic, and reflective approach to teaching
\u2022 The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
\u2022 A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
\u2022 A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
\u2022 A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
