New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs)<\/strong> to work in primary schools across Chester and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while securing short-term, long-term, or potential permanent opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We work with a variety of supportive schools that are committed to helping ECTs develop confidence and establish successful teaching careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Role:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, and\/or KS2
\u2022 Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
\u2022 Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
\u2022 Managing classroom behaviour effectively
\u2022 Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
\u2022 Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
\u2022 Working collaboratively with school staff and support teams
\u2022 Developing confidence across a variety of primary school settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)<\/strong> or be due to achieve QTS before starting
\u2022 Recent teaching placement experience within a primary school setting
\u2022 Strong classroom management and communication skills
\u2022 A proactive and enthusiastic approach
\u2022 A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
\u2022 A genuine passion for teaching and learning
\u2022 A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check<\/strong> and provide appropriate professional references.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
