\u00b7 Experience supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
\u00b7 A good understanding of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and\/or KS2.
\u00b7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
\u00b7 The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
\u00b7 Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
\u00b7 A patient, caring, and flexible approach to supporting pupils.
\u00b7 Experience working with pupils with SEND, SEMH, EAL, or additional learning needs would be advantageous.
\u00b7 Good behaviour management skills and the ability to support positive learning behaviours.
\u00b7 A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Provide classroom support to individuals, small groups, and whole classes as required.
\u00b7 Assist pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
\u00b7 Support the implementation of lesson plans and learning activities prepared by the class teacher.
\u00b7 Adapt resources and activities to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL requirements.
\u00b7 Promote positive behaviour and support the school’s behaviour management policies.
\u00b7 Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
\u00b7 Support the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress through observation and feedback.
\u00b7 Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and display work.
\u00b7 Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience in their learning.
\u00b7 Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes.
