Due to ongoing demand from our partnership schools, we are seeking motivated individuals who can provide high-quality classroom support, lead learning activities, and confidently cover lessons when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA or a highly skilled Teaching Assistant looking to further develop their career within secondary education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Role:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivering planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working with small groups and individual students to raise attainment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting departments across various subject areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributing to the planning and delivery of intervention programmes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring and reporting on student progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Successful Candidate Will Have:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>HLTA status or a relevant Level 4 qualification (desirable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience working within a secondary school setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong behaviour management skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The confidence to lead whole-class learning activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students and staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A passion for helping young people achieve their full potential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Join Us?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We work closely with a number of secondary schools throughout Leeds that are looking for talented HLTAs who can make a positive impact on students&#8217; education.
