The staff, parents and children are really excited to have the opportunity to see the torch pass the back of their school. The school will be using the &#8220;New Directions penalty shoot out&#8221; to help celebrate this occasion as well as numerous other events such as face painting, henna tattoos, games and will also be serving food.<\/p>\n<p>Amanda Stothard, Branch Manager, comments, &#8220;This is a really exciting time for the school and a once in a life time opportunity which is fantastic to be a part of&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The torch will approach 07.48am Dickenson road (A6010) and then move down Stockport road towards the back of Crowcroft Park Primary school in Manchester.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Manchester will hold an Olympic torch evening celebration event on Saturday 23 June.
