New Directions Education Liverpool were delighted to be invited to join other local employers from a wide range of employment sectors at Liverpool Hope University for their \u2018Ask the recruiters\u2019 event.<\/p>\n
The students attended seminars on a wide range of issues to help them with their transition into the world of work. The event was also an opportunity for students to learn more about career opportunities in the local area, as well as meeting with local leading employers who are actively seeking graduates for their jobs.<\/p>\n
Lisa Harper, Branch Manager at New Directions Liverpool commented \u2018New Directions Education is committed to building links with higher education institutions in our local communities. This event was another opportunity for us to engage with the students and help support and signpost them to their first opportunities in their chosen careers\u2019.<\/p>\n
New Directions Education provided students with pertinent information to help the students identify possible routes to work in the education sector. A professional guide was also available which provided tips and hints on applying for jobs and examples of how New Directions have successfully helped nurture, support and guide people in to the education workforce.<\/p>\n
