{"id":30044,"date":"2013-06-13T10:20:33","date_gmt":"2013-06-13T09:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.new-directions.co.uk\/education\/?p=30044"},"modified":"2017-09-26T16:56:02","modified_gmt":"2017-09-26T15:56:02","slug":"three-go-over-the-hill-for-ty-hafan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.new-directions.co.uk\/education\/2013\/06\/three-go-over-the-hill-for-ty-hafan\/","title":{"rendered":"Three go over-the-hill for Ty Hafan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Elen Davies, Senior Account Manager for New Directions Pharmacy along with three other team members (team name \u2018Over the Hill\u2019) have bravely\/stupidly agreed to complete the Welsh three peaks challenge to raise money for Ty Hafan. <\/p>\n<p>This challenge involves walking up Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen-y-Fan (the highest peaks in North, Mid and South Wales) in one day. <\/p>\n<p>Starting at 4am on Saturday 15th June, the trio will take on Snowdon, before driving down to the mighty Cadair Idris to tackle Pen-y-Fan with the aim of completing the challenge in under 15 hours. <\/p>\n<p>Over the Hill will be walking a total distance of 20.35 miles and will make a total ascent of 9,397ft (2,864m).<\/p>\n<p><strong>About T\u0177 Hafan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>T\u0177 Hafan offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the whole family.
