New Directions Wrexham recently awarded a teacher from Anglesey their ‘Employee of the Month’ accolade. <\/p>\n

Alistair Mclean who has worked for New Directions for just over a year is described by the team as being ‘dedicated, loyal and hardworking’.<\/p>\n

Rebecca Macintyre, Account Manager for Primary schools and Neil Roberts, Business Development officer for the branch surprised Alistair with a certificate and a bottle of Champagne whilst he was teaching a year 5\/6 class in Ysgol Mair St Roman Catholic School in Rhyl. <\/p>\n

Alistair was surprised and overwhelmed with winning the award. Rebecca commented “Alistair truly deserves this award, he has gone above and beyond expectations and is a true credit as a supply teacher for new directions” she added “nothing is ever too much trouble for Alistair and I wish him all the very best in his career”. <\/p>\n

Alistair recieved a huge round of applause from the children in the class and added the following “I was genuinely surprised and chuffed to receive the award. It wasn’t expected but it was great to get recognition whilst doing something you love”. <\/p>\n

Mr Plunkett the head teacher of Ysgol Mair was also in on the surprise and is pictured along with Alistair and Rebecca.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
