New Directions are delighted to hear the news\u00a0that funding of \u00a334m has been granted to schools in the Vale of Glamorgan area by the Welsh Government. The Welsh government has backed four replacement schools, including a new building for St Cyres Comprehensive in Penarth.<\/p>\n
Other schools to benefit will be Ysgol Erw’r Delyn Special School, Ysgol Maes Dyfan Special School and Ashgrove Special School.<\/p>\n
Quoted on the BBC website, Councillor Gordon Kemp said:<\/p>\n
We now look forward to converting our plans into an educational facility which will bring enormous benefits to pupils, staff and the wider community<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
