Egremont Primary have\u00a0received funding towards becoming a \u2018Forest School.\u2019 <\/strong>By becoming a Forest School they hope to inspire the children to learn through outdoor experiences, helping them develop a good understanding of the world around them using their emotions, imaginations and senses.<\/p>\n

The school will be using local woodland in addition to their our own outdoor areas to promote Forest School, providing activities such as mini beast hunts, picture making with natural materials and\u00a0leaf matching.\u00a0 They become aware of the sounds and smells associated with woodland and learn to respect and appreciate their natural surroundings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
