They will assist the Manager in providing child care in line with departmental policy and procedures.<\/p>\n<section id=\"main\">Residential Support Workers will be responsible to the Residential Home Manager. They will assist the Manager in providing child care in line with departmental policy and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Support Workers will provide care for young people in residence, which will mean that they will be required to work shifts, which will include nights and weekends.<\/p>\n<p>It is imperative that Support Workers pass a police check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).<\/p>\n<p>Typical Support Worker qualifications are NVQ Level 2 \/ 3 or equivalent.
