On the 15th<\/sup> November 2013 Cardiff’s Social Care Workforce Development Partnership held an awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of individuals working within the care sector in Cardiff.<\/p>\n

The partnerships aim is to increase the number of competent, qualified staff in social care by providing access to training and funding for training.<\/p>\n

Shelley Powell, Care Co-coordinator at ND Care and Support was one of the individuals recognised at the event. Shelley was awarded a Level 5 Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (CYP), the only person who was awarded this in Cardiff.<\/p>\n

Shelley commented on being awarded the qualification \u201cI am really pleased to have been awarded the Level 5 Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (CYP), it has made all the hard work worthwhile. The qualification will help me not just in my current role but also in the future as I progress in the care sector.<\/p>\n
