New Direction for Pharmacy

Posted on

The Hospital Pharmacist Conference will be held on Thursday 31st January 2008. This is a superb opportunity to keep up to date with the most recent changes and developments within the sector. The full programme of presentations running throughout the conference will provide informative and interesting facts regarding the way in which the Pharmaceutical sector is changing.

The NHS and the Pharmacy profession are continually changing. Pharmacy services need to move with the times  to optimise the resources available and ensure that patients are receiving the best pharmaceutical care. Successful service development can be achieved by taking a step back and reassessing the fundaments of how the service is delivered.

This conference and exhibition is designed for all sectors of the profession and provides a forum for sharing best practice as well as networking opportunities. Some of the informative presentations on the conference programme will include:-

  • The consequences of working differently
  • Extended roles and beyond – maximising technician potential
  • Shifting the balance of care – sharing care with community Pharmacists
