New Directions Pharmacy and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) – Making Staff Compliant

New Directions Pharmacy continues to follows stringent Compliance processes to ensure all pharmacists and support staff who register with the team have an up-to-date Enhanced DBS.

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) formerly CRB adds extra assurance for pharmacies hiring staff via New Directions. By offering this safeguarding process, New Directions gives a more transparent service than ever before, for both candidates and clients.

Leah Seltzer, Head of Compliance for the New Directions group of company’s comments:
‘New Directions is committed to providing the best quality candidates, through continuously improving our robust compliance recruitment processes. We now require all our candidates to hold an Update Service enabled DBS, which means that we can complete regular status checks to ensure their DBS is always up to date, and our candidates are fully compliant’.

The New Directions Pharmacy team will be contacting all active candidates over the coming weeks. Speaking about the important update to their service Elen Davies, Senior Account Manager for New Directions Pharmacy adds:
