New Directions Health & Social Care are looking for experienced and passionate Registered Nurses to care for elderly residents based in Nursing Home settings across Swansea and West Wales. As a RGN working for New Directions you will:

  • Review and update care plans as appropriate
  • Administer medication according to care plans
  • Provide support and companionship to elderly residents living with chronic illness and dementia
  • Deliver Effective handovers to ensure continuity of care
  • Promote independence and really make a difference
  • Support with the safeguarding of vulnerable persons by recording and reporting any concerns to management and relevant safeguarding bodies
  • Friendly and supportive
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Be flexible and supportive

To be considered for this post you must be

  • A Registered Nurse with an active, clear NMC Pin Number
  • Have 6 months experience in a Nursing role
  • Able to commit to ongoing shifts within Nursing Homes
  • Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
