Eden Gate are a homeless charity based in Newport, South Wales. We had been looking for personal safety training for our staff and volunteers to give them the knowledge and skills to deal with any challenging behaviour from our service users. The training exceeded our expectations. The trainer, Steve was very well informed and had loads of personal experience to relate to the topic of personal safety and behaviour management. We would certainly consider asking New Directions back to deliver other training courses and I would recommend to any organisation that provides a service where there is potential for conflict.

Thank you so much for your recent First Aid Course at our school. We were delighted with the training and the wonderful way you engaged our parents during the course. You were very supportive and gave the parents confidence to succeed and move onto other training opportunities. We can’t thank you enough for the time and opportunity to put on such an event in our school.

Taff Housing is the parent group for the Ty Seren project. This is a homeless project for young women between the ages of 16-25, who all require support with various issues.

We had been working with the recruitment division of New Directions, who then recommended their training division. We have now been working with the team for two years.

There were two main reasons for choosing New Directions as our training partner. The relationship we already have with the recruitment element of the business is excellent. But secondly, the price was extremely competitive.

The training we have received from New Directions has been specifically for our service users. It has been consistent excellent delivery, with outstanding results.

I would like to thank New Directions for providing professional, competitive and interesting training. From our first meeting to discuss our training needs as a company you have been informative and friendly, you made the course interesting and fun, all my staff took on board the information easily and passed with flying colours. Combine all this with competitive rates, this makes you my number one choice for paid training.

The response from all trainees has been extremely positive and all have commented on how well organised and professional the training was. New Directions assistance and in particular your flexibility in tailoring the course to meet our needs has been excellent. We look forward to working with you again.

Linc-Cymru opened Capel Grange, our first Community Nursing Home in June 2009 and New Directions were chosen to deliver the induction training for all of our Care and facilities staff. It was crucial to Linc that the chosen training provider shared our commitment to the provision of a quality care service and that the trainers had the necessary personal skills and experience to deliver quality training. It was clear from the training feedback received that Steve Shepherd and Vicky Deane had these attributes in abundance. They not only managed to deliver quality training sessions but also assisted us with the structure and content of our induction programme. I have no hesitation in recommending New Directions and Steve and Vicky to provide a quality service.
