We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people in residential care settings in the Caerphilly area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people who may have experienced challenges in their lives, helping them feel safe, valued, and supported while encouraging their personal development and independence.
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a key role in creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can grow, develop confidence, and achieve their potential.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Your Role Will Include
Supporting children and young people in a residential care setting
Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
Supporting daily routines including education, activities, and life skills
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Taking young people to appointments, school, and social activities
Maintaining accurate records and following care plans
Promoting safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing at all times
Working as part of a supportive and professional care team

Able to build positive relationships and provide emotional support
Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to drive as part of the role
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
