Key Responsibilities
Providing person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs
Supporting individuals with daily living activities, personal care and hygiene where required
Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing
Supporting individuals to access the community, attend appointments and participate in activities
Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks where required
Providing emotional support, companionship and reassurance
Following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
Maintaining accurate record and reporting any concerns or changes in an individuals wellbeing
Working professionally and collaboratively with service users, families and other professionals
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 6 months experience in a care or support worker role
Must be a driver with a valid driving licence
Reliable, punctual and flexible to meet service requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient and compassionate approach
Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and person-centred care
