New Directions Health & Social Care are looking to recruit dedicated Hostel Support Workers to join our friendly team on a full-time basis for shifts in Llanelli. We’re seeking experienced, competent individuals who thrive when supporting those in emergency/ hostel accommodation.
Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for providing high quality help and support. If you’re experienced, committed and looking to make a difference to people’s lives; we would love to hear from you!
Requirements:
6 Months supported living/ hostel experience in the UK (Non – Negotiable)
De-escalation training, substance misuse and MHFA all preferred
Key Skills:
Excellent communication skills
A basic understanding of legislative requirements
Ability to empathize
Excellent team player
Highly organised
Compliant with policies and procedures
