Support Worker – Eating Disorders

Job Description

Will you be the one to make a difference in the life of a young adult? Can you support and rehabilitate adults dealing with Eating Disorders? Encourage and support 17-24 year olds to gain independence whilst managing varying mental health concerns and Eating Disorders. Our service focuses on provided the necessary care and therapy required to support our service users. Based in Stroud, we are looking for Support Workers to cover days, nights and split shifts with pay rates of £9.50-10 per hour.

As a Support Worker you will:

  • Provide ongoing therapeutic support to 17-24 year olds managing Eating Disorders within our service
  • Support service users with day to day tasks as well as longer term goals
  • Follow person centered care plans to rehabilitate and support Service Users to gain independence
  • Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, occupational health and other professionals

As well as a pay rate of up to £135 per shift you will receive:

  • Ongoing training and development relevant to your role

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 months experience within a similar role
  • DBS on the Update Service – if you do not have a DBS we can
  • Ability to undertake shifts on any of the following patterns – 07.30-22.00, 07.30-15.00, 14.30-22.00, 22.30-08.00
