Job Description

Minimum Qualification Requirement: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide warm and informative assistance to health care providers and patients, both in person and over the phone, answering inquiries and referring them to the pharmacist.

• Efficiently manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely orders, and proper receipt verification, all while removing outdated medications.

• Uphold a clean and safe pharmacy environment by strictly adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations, while maintaining infection-control policies to protect patients and staff.

• Prepare medications for the pharmacist’s dispensing, including reading orders, labeling, quantity calculation, and assembling pharmaceutical therapies.

• Maintain detailed records by recording and filing prescriptions, ensuring organized and accessible information.

• Contribute to revenue generation by accurately calculating and recording charges.

• Ensure timely medication availability by delivering to patients and departments.

• Assist in report preparation by collecting and summarizing information.
