About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Supported Living Support Workers to work in the Caerphilly and surrounding areas. In this role, you will support adults to live as independently as possible within a supported living environment, promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion.
This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, adaptable, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in a supported living setting
Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care
Support individuals to access the community and participate in activities
Administer medication in line with training and protocols
Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Essential Requirements
Experience in a care or support role (supported living, domiciliary, or similar)
Medication administration training
Comfortable providing personal care
Flexibility to work a mixture of long days, waking nights, and sleep-in shifts
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, reliable, and professional approach
Desirable
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
