The New Directions group of companies was established in 1994, and the Social Care branch of the business has developed as one of the premier recruitment and training providers to the sector in the UK.
The team are dedicated to providing the right recruitment and training services to the social care and nursing sectors, the first time. We are embedded within your community and adhere to all procedures as set by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).

Quality and Compliance
Safeguarding is at the heart of what we do and we never compromise. New Directions ensures you have the best fit for your service, including skills, training and vetting.
All candidates are interviewed by a specialist Consultant to discuss experience, skills and suitability to work with the sector. An Enhanced DBS Disclosure (formerly CRB) is obtained by our dedicated Compliance Hub and renewed annually. Once identification and training checks are completed and original documentation is verified, a full employment history is obtained and all gaps in employment are accounted for. To ensure we are placing appropriate candidates, references are obtained and verified for all employment within the past 2 years including their most recent employer.
After satisfying each step of our robust registration process, our Compliance Hub will complete a full audit on the candidate file before any candidate becomes available for work.
We are dedicated to providing a quality service to our entire community. Whether you work for New Directions or you recruit or train with our team, your opinion is invaluable. We conduct an annual survey to ensure that we are doing our job properly.
Our latest annual Quality Assurance programme confirmed that 92% of candidates felt they were mostly or always treated in a professional, supportive manner by all New Directions staff and 94% of clients said the consultant was knowledgeable, responsive and understood their needs, 100% advising that the consultant was professional and dealt with their request efficiently.

Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC)
New Directions Social Care is a registered member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. The REC is a professional body that represents the recruitment industry. We are dedicated to following professional recruitment procedures in line with those recommended with by the REC.

The New Directions group of companies is an umbrella company for the DBS.
Accredited CIEH training session (New Directions Training)
New Directions has an in-house training department that is an approved accredited Chartered Institute of Environmental Health centre. We offer up-to-date training for the social care sector that focuses on quality and cost.
Gender Pay Gap 2019
At New Directions Recruitment Limited we are dedicated to ensuring fairness, equality and inclusion throughout our workforce.
