Giving Back, Together: Facilities Team Launch Team Based Giving Back Day
As part of our impact initiative, we’re proud to continue promoting our Giving Back Days, bringing our teams together to create meaningful, collective impact across the business.
In September, our Facilities Team led the way by hosting their very first team based Giving Back Day, setting a fantastic example of how small actions, when done together, can make a meaningful difference.

The team spent the day volunteering at the Jubilee Scouts campsite, a valued local community space that hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. Rolling up their sleeves, the team helped to plant trees, contributing directly to the site’s green spaces, while also getting hands on building bridges and benches that will be enjoyed by visitors for years to come.
It was a practical, rewarding day that blended teamwork with purpose, and a great reminder of the positive impact businesses can have when they engage locally.
Tree planting plays a small but important role in our wider sustainability journey. While our path to net zero is driven by reducing emissions across our operations, initiatives like this support biodiversity, improve local environments, and reinforce our commitment to acting responsibly beyond our own footprint.
Sustainability isn’t just about targets and policies, it’s about showing up, getting involved, and making choices that support long-term environmental and social wellbeing.

The Jubilee campsite also holds significant social value within the community. During the summer, it hosted a Single Parent Festival, specifically designed for parents of children with additional needs. The festival created a safe, welcoming environment where families could spend a weekend connecting with others who share similar experiences, building friendships, confidence, and support networks.

This Giving Back Day perfectly reflects our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) values: supporting local communities, promoting inclusion, protecting the environment, and empowering our people to make a difference together.
As we move into 2026 with team based Giving Back Days across the organisation, we’re excited to see more teams creating positive change — strengthening communities, supporting sustainability, and helping us build a more responsible future, together.
