Job purpose:
To provide a quality educational staff supply service to all schools and education supply workers in your allotted area of responsibility, in a manner than enhances the reputation of the company and leads to business growth from satisfied customers.
Main duties:
- Sustain booking plan delivery
- Visit a minimum set of schools per week as agreed with your manager in line with the Branch
Strategy and to incorporate dedicated days out on pre-arranged calls, generating new business and providing quality follow up service visits for existing clients. Whilst on visits and during call activity to schools promote ND Ed full services i.e. CPD training.
- Respond effectively to a range of inbound telephone business enquiries and where practical convert the enquiry to an appropriate booking in accordance with specified processes, procedures, standards and relevant New Directions Education LTD regulations.
- Whilst in telephone contact with clients and candidates; simultaneously navigate the computer system, responding to the prompts whilst maintaining a conversation and updating the database with information being gleaned, in a disciplined manner.
- Undertake effective outbound sales calls to secure work for your supply staff and where practical convert to an appropriate booking in accordance with specified processes, procedures, standard and relevant New Directions Education LTD regulations.
- Recruit, interview and vet prospective candidates to build a quality database of local staff in accordance with specified processes, procedures, standards and relevant New Directions Education LTD regulations.
- Maintain regular contact with all of your supply staff to keep them in your fold and available for through New Directions Education LTD for the maximum % of their time.
- Ensure that the administration, reporting and record keeping are completed accurately, on time and adhere to all specified processes, procedures, standards and relevant New Directions Education LTD regulations.
- Maintain a good working understanding of New Directions Education LTD database systems (RDB) such that its benefits are fully exploited whilst updating data in a disciplined manner. Keep abreast all of changes that arise.
- Prepare suitable quality CVs and profiles for all supply staff seeking long-term work.
- Supporting fellow team members in their areas when work demands require.
- Adhere to branch KPIs set by the Branch Manager
- Full understanding of individual targets and GP margins.
- Full understanding of The Hub support function.
- Constant verbal contact with all staff in your own branch including your manager, monitor and liaise with your Branch Manager re reports affecting own geographical areas.
- To secure additional school relationships through making suitable contact, at a suitable time, in a suitable way, with a suitable offering, thus finding additional work opportunities for your registered supply staff.
- Such other tasks , as are delegated by your BM at any time.
- Support NDE webinars and education events, ensure that places are offered to as many different clients/candidates as possible without inviting the same individuals.
- In busy periods, assist other account managers to fill bookings.
- All branch staff may encounter meetings with other branches and head office support staff who provide assistant where required including credit controllers, payroll, chasing invoices, recruitment support (The Hub), marketing, IT support, Human Resources.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for protecting your valuable supply staff available by ensuring that you fill their diaries with suitable work through actively selling them in advance.
- Responsible for increasing and maintaining client base through contributing to the branch recruitment strategies and by providing an impressive and extremely rapid recruitment service when an application is received, getting the applicant out working for New Directions Education LTD as fast as possible adhering to New Directions Education LTD critical compliance rules.
- Responsible for compliance with all relevant legislation, and processes, policies, and procedures
- Responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and ensuring that you take reasonable care not to put other people (including fellow employees and members of the public) at risk by what you do or do not do in the course of your job
- Responsible for safeguarding assets within your control and posession, including but not limited to hardware, software, systems, or information, and to report any suspected breach in security without delay, to the relevant personnel as required
- Responsible for the non-disclosure of any confidential information and/or trade secrets of the Company to third parties and/or the misuse of any confidential information and/or trade secrets of the Company for your own purpose/benefit
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing excellent working relationships with colleagues within your department and the wider Company
- Responsible for delivering exceptional levels of customer service; both to internal and external customers
- Responsible for communicating with people in a respectful, courteous, and professional manner at all times

Educational/qualification attainments:
Full UK Drivers License
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Competent at all aspects of the role
- Previous experience in a recruitment or sales background
- Good market knowledge e.g. funding opportunities, PSL
- High knowledge of REC Code of Conduct
- Excellent knowledge of the recruitment process
- Full understanding of desk revenue generated as per set budget GP for individual desk
- Strong knowledge of the AWR legislation with the ability to manage AWR compliance
- Able to make decisions using available data and information
- Excellent time management skills – ability to plan and prioritise workload, maximising productivity
- Ability to assist junior team members
- Efficient user of RDB, Swyx and Teams
- Ability to build and maintain information bank
- Ability to promote services making high quality sales
- Ability to market through social media
- Excellent knowledge of child safeguarding
