New Directions Education are currently recruiting for a Computing and iMedia Teacher to work in a high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
Full-time teaching position delivering Computing and Creative iMedia across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to support GCSE coursework and exam preparation.
Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging lessons in areas such as computer science fundamentals, programming, digital graphics, and multimedia production.
Use a range of software and digital platforms (e.g. Python, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) to inspire learners and develop their technical and creative skills.
Collaborate with the Computing and Media department to contribute to curriculum development, track student progress, and uphold high standards in teaching and learning.
The Ideal Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Have recent, relevant experience teaching Computing and/or iMedia at secondary level.
Be able to provide a school-based reference within the last 5 years.
