New Directions Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teacher for a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Wavertree, Liverpool. The Role:

• Full-time, long-term opportunity in Year 1, delivering the national curriculum with a strong focus on phonics, early reading, and language acquisition.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports all learners, including those with EAL and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Work closely with the Phase Leader and wider KS1 team to deliver inclusive, high-quality learning experiences.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Able to provide recent, relevant references from the last 5 years.
