About the Role:
New Directions Education is recruiting dedicated and supportive SEND Teaching Assistants to work within a range of secondary schools in the Chester area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to thrive in an inclusive learning environment. You’ll work closely with teaching staff and the school’s SEND team to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them achieve both academically and personally.
We’re Looking For:
– Experience supporting young people with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, learning or communication difficulties)
– A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– A genuine enthusiasm for supporting inclusive education
– Relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or additional learning needs (desirable but not essential)
