We are currently recruiting a dedicated and nurturing Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming small primary school in Knowsley. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting younger pupils and contributing to their learning, development, and wellbeing throughout the school day.

The Role
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, accessible learning activities.
Support children’s academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development throughout the school day.
Help create a positive, encouraging learning environment where all pupils feel safe and supported.
Provide assistance with routine tasks, transitions, and any additional needs as required.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable, particularly supporting those with SEND or additional needs—but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Backgrounds in childcare, early years, youth work, or similar roles with transferable skills are welcome.
Kind, resilient, patient, and committed to helping children achieve their best.
Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service if not already in place.
Able to provide employment references from the last 5 years.
