What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects (no subject specialism required).
Managing behaviour effectively using positive, consistent strategies.
Engaging pupils and maintaining a purposeful learning environment.
Quickly adapting to different school settings and classroom routines.
Providing short-term or full-day cover as needed across KS3 and KS4.
Supporting the smooth running of the school day by being reliable, professional, and proactive.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Strong classroom management and confident communication skills.
A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to step into different roles.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable:
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
Comfortable covering a range of subjects from English to PE.
Ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff.
