New Directions Education are seeking a talented and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a humanities Department at a thriving secondary school on the Wirral.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to explore historical events.
As a History Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Maintain discipline.
Lesson Planning and overseeing parents’ evenings
Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
A strong academic background Physics or related discipline
To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 16 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
The Successful History Teacher must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience Of Teaching History
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
