New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Secondary Humanities Teacher to work in secondary schools across Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to deliver engaging Humanities lessons and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The Role:
Teaching Humanities subjects (such as History, Geography and/or RE) across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum
Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
Maintaining positive behaviour and an inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching Humanities in a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
A passion for Humanities and inspiring young learners
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
