New Directions Education are currently recruiting a passionate and committed KS2 Teacher to work in primary schools across Chester. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working with Key Stage 2 pupils and is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Opportunities are available on a short-term, long-term, and potential temp-to-perm basis.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
The Role:
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
• Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
